Youth Week occurs annually on the first week of May. This year, it runs officially from May 1st-7th, but Markham is offering amazing events and opportunities all through May to celebrate our youth! Come check out all the things the city has to offer including incredible shows, exciting events, free drop-ins, and much much more! Go through the list and see what you want to attend! The Mayor’s Youth Task Force brings together Markham’s boldest and most visionary student leaders to advance youth opportunities in our community. As a task force, we represent young people in Markham, and create action plans and make recommendations to Markham town council to address issues that are of concern to youth. Students in grades 6 to 12 (in September) who attend school in Markham or reside in Markham are eligible to apply.
