Amazing Markham Race 2006 Winners
*The following information reflects The Amazing Markham Race - High School Edition 2006*

As you are well aware, every team is truly a winner by supporting the Mayor's Youth Task Force in the combat against youth homelessness. Without your help, students from high schools all over Markham would not have raised $7,764.83 towards Street Kids International!

Although we did not reach our goal of $10,000, the generosity and spirit of the youth in Markham is remarkable and should be applauded. We encourage everyone to write to us and tell your MYTF Rep if you want to see The Amazing Markham Race return next year.

*Congratulations*
To the official winners of The Amazing Markham Race, from Pierre Elliott Trudeau, Team Tenacity, Andrea Bailie and Kaleigh Ambrose! This team managed to co-operate, motivate, and use all their smarts to claim at the very end the $1,000 prize donated by McDonald's on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Angus Glen Community Centre.

These teams did not participate in the race, but had exemplary performance which won them prizes. All teams that participated in the race were announced at the kick-off.
