Who? Kelly Hu, that’s Hu! 3 years on MMYC yet she still cracks this lacklustre pun. Jokes aside, she is beyond stoked (and a little sentimental) to be serving her last year as co-chair with Selina! Kelly is a grade 12 IB student at Bayview SS, VP of Bayview DECA and president of Markham Key Club. As much as she adores contributing to her city and school communities, Kelly cannot live without rep volleyball and track. Nevertheless, when she’s not getting packed at practice, catch her taking naps to compensate for the lack of sleep she gets. Don’t hesitate to approach Kelly at an event (and follow her @kellyh.u); we know she is very intimidating but she won’t bite!
Selina Qiu is a Grade 11 student at Markville Secondary School and she is ecstatic to be one of MMYC’s co-chairs along with Kelly! Outside of MMYC, she is the President of Markville's Dance FuZe Club and an exec of Markville's DECA chapter. Catch Selina grinding DECA exams, learning new dances, watching food videos, eating food (lots and lots of food!) and spending all her money on bubble tea. She is a strong advocate for bubble tea, so If you ever need a bubble tea recommendation, feel free to visit her at any events and ask her for some recommendations; she’ll be happy to give you some cool drinks! 🙂
Ashwin is a Grade 10 Student at Markham District High School, and is excited for his first year on MMYC. Outside of MMYC, he’s a part of his school’s DECA team and works alongside Student Council as the Grade 10 representative. Ashwin also has a strong connection with music, being a level 8 vocalist and 4 pianist in the Royal Conservatory of Music. When he’s not overwhelmed with school work, he enjoys performing at local events and spending time with friends. Feel free to say hello to him at future events. :))
It’s ya girl Anjali. This is Anjali’s first year on MMYC and she already knows that it’s going to be another great year of exciting events for the Markham Community. In her grade 12 year, Anjali is the Equity coordinator on her student council, member of Music Council, and part of band, jazz band, and choir. She stays after school almost every day to the point where her parents think she lives there, and she loves waking up at 5:30 am for morning band where she plays the alto saxophone! She loves buying clothes (I have way too many please buy them at @anjalisclothes), thrift shopping, and re-watching old TV shows. Anyways, she's always free to talk about school, life, clothes, and anything in between. Follow her at @anjali_singh99!

This enthusiastic grade 10 from Markville S.S. has been dreaming about being involved in something this grand in the community, and he's stoked that he finally is! So, iIt's no surprise that he thoroughly enjoys his time volunteering at community centers and food banks. Along with volunteering, Bryant is on his school's student council, is an avid member of DECA, and loves playing the trombone.
