The Markham Youth Golf Open

Here is a little bit of background information on the Mayor's Youth Task Force: it is a group of diverse and dedicated teens representing the fabric of Markham's youth community. We work with the Town of Markham to run events such as the Battle of the Bands, the Amazing Markham Race and the Youth Week Kickoff. We are dedicated to raising awareness and celebrating youth, as well as being an active voice in the Town of Markham. We acknowledge the lack of competitive golf tournaments in Markham and we have addressed this by organizing one this coming spring.

If a school does not have a team players can register and compete as individuals

The tournament is a Stroke Play tournament and players will abide by the by the CJGA rules of play and conduct. Only Giorgio Proestos, Golf Tournament Project Manager has the authority to adapt those rules for this tournament. (This is not a CJGA event)
