Important Fundraising Instructions

1. Safe and proper fundraising for this event is very important. Failure to follow the following instructions when fundraising may result in your removal from the contest.
2. Be Safe & Be Smart -- Use your common sense.
3. Follow all the instructions provided on website and in your information package.
4. Make sure your parents or guardians approve your intentions to raise funds for the charity Street Kids International and to participate in the Amazing Markham Race fundraiser.
5. Encourage online donations as oppose to cash donations.
6. Make a list of friends, family, relatives, and neighbors. An email has been created for you to send out to them requesting a donation.  You are able to add your own personal comments to the email.
7. Follow-up the email with a phone call or personal conversation.
8. Ask your parents to take pledge forms to work.
9. Do not carry large amounts of cash.
10. Keep collected money in a secure location or with a responsible adult.
11. Do not accept coins, bills only please.
