Stomp the Yard is a new event that the MYTF is bringing to the youth of Markham in 2008. This dance competition encourages youth in Markham to express their dancing talents in a contest. This event could be the big break dancers in Markham have been looking for; not to mention, these dancers will have the chance to display their moves in front of hundreds of Markham youth.

Dancers may also audition live, but in addition to the Stomp the Yard online audition form, you must also complete a Kick-Off Audition Form to get an audition time slot. You may choose to audition on April 3rd, 2008 at from 4:30pm to 8pm. Auditions will take place at the Markham Civic Centre. Check it out NOW.

The event will feature 12-16 bands facing off to become all of Markham’s top band. A massive prize will be awarded to the winner. All types of bands and solo acts are accepted, however the one requirement is that you can rock out your heart to the MAX!!.
